FUN BOWLS DAY

Apart from a few showers here and there, the FUN BOWLS DAY was a big hit!
There was a good turn out, and credit goes to many of our members for their efforts in making the day a tremendous one.
To CAL FORBER for his excellent organisation and ability to keep the pairings going…To ANDY WHITE and SUZY SOO for providing the excellent burger and sausage batches, you both did a tremendous job!!
To all the “professional” bowlers, in helping the non bowlers how to use the woods, and how to watch the player in front of them line up the shots.
To our bar staff, who provided us with the sustenance to keep us hydrated! Special thanks to our bar manager KELLE, who was in early to organise not just the Fun Day, but also a christening in the Function Room.

FUNCTION ROOM HIRE
The function room has a large dance floor, and short steps up to the seating area. Please view the video to see the layout of the room.
COST
The cost to hire the function room is £75
This requires £25 on booking, and the balance paid four weeks before the event. This covers FIVE hours. If you require the room for an extended time outside club opening hours, an additional charge will be made to cover staff wages.
Any damage to any part of the room, a charge will be made to cover the cost of repair.
**Unfortunately, we can not cater for 18th and 21st parties**
WALLASEY LADYBIRDS
The Wallasey Ladybirds have been in operation since 1970, and have contributed to lots of charities with their successful money raising events.
They are always open to add new members.
They meet every Tuesday evening in the upstairs hall at the Wallasey Central Conservative Club.
If you feel you can help, please ask at the club for Sheila White, she will welcome you with open arms and introduce you to the fellow ladybirds!
